Cedarburg Remodel Update

There's a moment in every remodel where the project shifts from "construction zone" to "wait, I can actually see it now." We're getting close to that moment with our Cedarburg project, and we couldn't be more excited.

Where We Are This Week

Our crew is wrapping up rough electrical and plumbing work this week, and framing is coming together. If you've ever been through a remodel, you know this phase — the house has been opened up, everything's exposed, and it can feel like things are a long way from done. But this is actually where the magic starts.

Seeing the walls come back up is one of the most exciting milestones in any renovation. It's when the layout stops being lines on a blueprint and starts becoming real rooms. Doorways take shape. You can stand in the kitchen and actually picture yourself cooking in it. The flow of the home finally clicks.

What's Coming Next

This is where it gets really good. Here's a peek at what's ahead for this home:

  • New hardwood floors throughout the first floor. There's nothing quite like the warmth and character that hardwood brings to a space. It's going to completely transform the feel of the main level.

  • A beautiful oak stairway. This is going to be a real showpiece — the kind of detail you notice the second you walk through the front door.

  • Inset cabinetry with quartz countertops in the kitchen. Inset cabinets have that timeless, built-in look that just feels elevated. Paired with quartz countertops, this kitchen is going to be something special.

The Big Picture

What we love about this project is that every choice the homeowners have made is rooted in quality and craftsmanship. Hardwood floors, oak details, inset cabinetry — these aren't trendy shortcuts. They're the kind of finishes that look beautiful on day one and even better ten years down the road.

We'll keep sharing updates as this one progresses. The next few weeks are when things really start to come to life, and we can't wait to show you more.
